At Connect Learn and Grow, we are on a mission to bridge the digital divide in Ethiopia. We firmly believe that access to technology is not just a privilege but a fundamental right that can transform the lives of students. Our dedicated team and passionate volunteers work tirelessly to provide electronic devices, educational programs, and workshops to empower Ethiopian students and create a brighter future for all.
OUR BACKGROUND
We are a non-profit organization that bridges the digital divide in Ethiopia. We realized that many students in the city do not have access to the internet and other electronic resources that are vital for academic success and personal growth.
To solve this problem, we will start collecting good-condition electronics from individuals and businesses in the community. Our team of volunteers will work to refurbish and repair these devices, ensuring that they work excellently.
Once the electronics are ready, we want to distribute them to students in Ethiopia, with the goal of providing each student with one electronic device that could enable them to access the internet and other important information. We focus on providing laptops, tablets, and smartphones, as these devices are particularly useful for students who need to complete research, access online learning resources, and communicate with teachers and peers.
We have also expanded our efforts to include educational programs and workshops that teach students how to use their new electronics effectively and safely.
Our work is driven by a deep commitment to improving the lives of students in Ethiopia. We believe that access to technology is a fundamental right, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that every student in our city has the resources they need to succeed.
